Howdy! I’m Jennifer.

I started Galveston Cruise Hub because I saw a need for accurate, concise, pertinent information on cruising out of Galveston, Texas to be readily available to cruisers from around the world. I want to share my personal experiences with cruising out of the port of Galveston with you! I noticed a real lack of detailed information about cruising from Galveston.
We took our very first cruise on the Norwegian Sea in 1998 out of the Barbours Cut Terminal in the Houston Ship Channel. We loved the experience and the exciting destinations. Our next cruise wasn’t until 2011 on the Disney Dream. That cruise was absolutely amazing! Castaway Cay is a must-do for families. We cruised again on the Carnival Magic in 2015 (one of my favorite ships!), Carnival Breeze in 2017 (ask me about cruising the Caribbean in a tropical storm!), and Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas in 2023 (an absolutely beautiful ship with great entertainment). All were fun family vacations, and all but the Disney Dream were out of the Galveston cruise terminals.
My goal is to make cruising out of Galveston, Texas, as smooth and carefree as possible so that you and your family and friends can have a wonderful vacation and create beautiful memories to treasure for years to come. Planning in advance will help you have the best cruise experience possible. I can give you my personal tips as I live locally in the Houston-Galveston area and travel to Galveston often. I want to introduce you to all the amazing people and things to do in Galveston so you can extend your vacation and enjoy your time on the island before or after your cruise!
